It is always hard to write about yourself so I paid my publicist good money to write something nice about me and make me sound better than I am.
Truth is, I am just a dude who travels the world playing music and taking photographs. I also like to write stories and songs, and have been known to cook a thing or two. There is still a lot I have to learn and I have many roads left to travel, but there are a few things I have done and seen which I would like to share with you all. This website showcases just that. In any case, here is what my publicist had to say.
Tom is a modern day Renaissance Man – A talented photographer, a gifted story teller and an award winning musician. His art, like him, is a brilliant mixture of cultures, colours and commentary.
Tom’s photographs are a mix of portrait, landscape, colour and black and white. From the natural to architectural, his photographs capture the moment and evoke a mood. There is always an interplay of light, shadow and texture.
From Cuba to Italy to his native Mexico, his photos are a celebration of curiosity, and capture the everyday beauty that unites diverse cultures. He tells a story as succesfully on film as he does in song.
Tom shoots on DSLR Nikon D-80, Cannon Powershot A540, a Canon SLR Rebel G with a variety of lenses.
In addition to Tom's work in photography he is also an accomplished musician both as a solo artist and with his band The Paperboys. Below is a list of his achievements.
